FNQ Growers will host a Gala Dinner at the Mareeba International Club on Friday September 13, 2024 to celebrate and showcase the horticultural industry of Far North Queensland.
The annual gala dinner acknowledges the leaders in our industry and the farming businesses of the region who are implementing new techniques, planting new crops and utilising innovative technologies to employ people and support local businesses.
A highlight of the evening will be announcement of the 2024 winner for the Charlie Nastasi Horticultural Farmer of the Year Award. The award recognises leadership, innovation and business acumen of farmers in the region.
A fundraising auction of locally grown fruit and vegetables will conclude the evening with all proceeds going to the local community through a selection of community based organisations.
